I am a Stockport lad, born, and mainly bred (yes, the home of the famous brick arches over the M60, and a ‘Pyramid’!)
I have got an English surname (which means big hill with trees on it), but I am also very proud of my family Celt Roots, Scottish and Irish, which might explain why I like the taste of Guinness!
I am also proud of my working class roots, remembering where you came from, is important to keep you grounded. I’ve roots in Salford, my dad’s old estate, I’ll never forget the old terraced houses, nor the sound people that lived around my Nans old house, the sort that would go out of their way for you, no matter who you were.
I have lived in Wales, Sale, and Stockport, and am generally a pretty positive type of person. Maybe at 5″6 I am not the tallest, but I try to make up for that with my personality, and a good heart, to do the right things in life, to make people proud.
