My Charity Involvement

I volunteer for my local branch of the MND Association in Greater Manchester, my own family have been affected by Motor Neurone Disease, we know too well how tough life can be living with it. Helping by volunteering enables me to make a better future for others, than my family experienced.

I’ve done a fair few things as well, from helping with local and national campaigns, to helping organise the local branch, to meeting Royalty, it’s been varied!

My involvement stems from my Grandad, John Broadhurst, he had Motor Neurone Disease, it left a deep scar on my family that has never quite healed. The difference I make, makes my Dad proud, and that means a huge amount. Hear me talk about him below.

I also support other good causes, like Asthma UK, given I’ve lived with it all my life, and my work for the MND Association gets me involved in campaigns with other charities.
